Triola Aina Foundation Impact
Our Impact Story
TAF operates through a volunteering systematic approach in which capacity is honed towards the implementation of activities to realize set objectives. Though TAF has not been able to access any donor funding, organizational contributions has been made towards the achievement of the United Nations Social Development Goals. TAF has worked in partnerships with several notable organizations and associations including Abuja Global shapers as well as private sector organizations such as Izy Air to facilitate community projects including rehabilitation of schools for students and knowledge acquisition programs. These programs have impacted over 200 students as direct beneficiaries. In addition, Triola Aina foundation engages in campaigns and awareness creation via existing social media platforms on well notable dates including international refugee days, international day for the girl child.

International Day of the Girl Child February 2020
We marked the day on 11th February, 2020 with seventy (70) students at Sharing Prosperity IDP Camp School, New Kuchingoro, Abuja. We discussed with the students inline with the theme of the day ‘Investment in Women and Girls in Science for Inclusive Green Growth.’ Teaching them about climate and the need to properly dispose of polyethene bags and all non biodegradable litters. We engaged the girls in a spelling bee challenge was the highlight of the day, as all girls were excited and fully participated. 80% of their guesses to complete the missing word were right. As though they had a sneak peek of the words prior to that day.
During the lockdown, we had a series of mentorship sessions on Leadership and Personal Growth reaching over 100 youth across the world. We hosted personal growth experts and mentors like Hamzat Lawal, Brenda Okorogba, Dayo Nigeria, Jude Feranmi, Adeola Olubamiji, Dr. Ann Amuta, Dr. Dipo Awojide, Tunde Omotoye, Samson Itodo etc.

Capacity Building Sessions
24th of August 2019 was an epoch making day as Ms Enitan Okediji facilitated a capacity building training themed EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AS A TOOL FOR TRANSFORMING VISION INTO REALITY. We discussed avenues for translating the vision of our organization into little achievable goals and managing communication and all correspondence. This helped improve our correspondences both internally and externally.
15th of February 2020, was another exciting capacity building session with the erudite Ms. Queen Nwokonneya, Deputy Curator of Abuja Global Shaper on ‘TRANSFORMING ORGANIZATIONAL VISION TO LOCAL POPULACE’. She stressed on the need for empathy and seeking best approaches to reach out to our audience /community. We learnt how to drive our mission and objectives across our focal areas with empathy. Using the Dangers of a Single Story, a Ted Talk by Chimamanda Adichie as case study.
